If you’re a car enthusiast looking to take your driving experience to the next level, buying a Hennessey-modified car or upgrading your own vehicle via their tuning packages is a sure-fire way to increase performance. Hennessey Performance has made a name for itself as a leading provider of high-performance upgrades for a variety of vehicles, and their latest offering, the Hennessey C8 Corvette H700, is no exception.

In a recent video released on their YouTube channel, the Hennessey team demonstrated just how much of an improvement their C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray upgrade, the Hennessey C8 Corvette H700, can make. In a like-for-like situation, the H700 was pitted against the often-overpriced Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in the most controlled experiment possible to show just how much faster it is.

To get your hands on a 2023 Hennessey Corvette, you’ll need to purchase a C8 Corvette Stingray, which costs $65,000 and then purchase the Hennessey H700 supercharger kit and warranty, which will set you back a further $35,000. For a total of $100,000 (which is $5,000 less than the Corvette Z06’s MSRP), you’ll have the bare bones H700, which makes 708 hp and 638 lb-ft from the newly-supercharged Stingray’s LT2 V8.

What is Included in the Hennessey C8 Corvette H700 Package

The Hennessey C8 Corvette H700 package includes the supercharger, intercooler, engine tune, lightweight wheels, cat-back exhaust, and graphics – making it only $10,000 more than the Z06. However, with a 44 percent power and 37 percent torque increase, as well as 38 hp and 178 lb-ft more than the Z06, it’s clear that the H700 is a better value for money.

In the video, the Hennessey team brought along a stock black C8 Corvette and the white H700 with blue speed stripes for a series of races. Both cars had the same settings enabled, the same engine temperature, and the same amount of fuel onboard to make it a fair fight. Unsurprisingly, the Hennessey C8 Corvette H700 was faster in each race, with the race from a dig resulting in the H700 pulling away from the get-go and pulling out an ever-increasing lead on the stock C8 to the finish.

Great Value in the Corvette Hennessey

Rolling races also resulted in the same conclusion, with the Hennessey C8 Corvette H700 always having a ‘considerable’ lead, and more than the team expected. They comment during the video that the C8 Corvette is a relatively-tough car, and you can safely drive it every day. Hennessey also provides 3 years/36,000-mile warranties with its upgraded ‘Vette, giving you peace of mind while enjoying the upgraded performance.

The Z06 is often getting sold with huge markups, some for as much as $275,000. With the same performance potential as the top Corvette without the premiums (or wait time), the H700 is an easier and more cost-effective way to achieve the same kind of performance. Plus, you can go 205 mph in the H700 – 10 mph faster than the Z06 – but you have to hurry because Hennessey will only build limited quantities of its supercharged Corvette.

Upgrade Your Driving Experience with the Hennessey C8 Corvette H700 Package

The Hennessey C8 Corvette H700 upgrade package is an excellent choice for car enthusiasts looking to get the most out of their C8 Corvette Stingray. With its impressive performance figures, daily drivability, and competitive price point, the H700 is a must-have upgrade for any Corvette owner looking to take their driving experience to the next level Feel free to watch the full version of the race using the link below:
