    The Fastest 10 Corvette Car Models You Can Buy Right Now

    Corvette has been America’s favorite sports car since 1953, and the latest 2014 Corvette, available in both coupe and convertible varieties, is no exception to the rule. This particular car comes with an all-new, 450-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 engine that can hit 60 mph in under four seconds and reach speeds up to 190 miles per hour.

    1) 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8

    For 2019, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 is the fastest car available. It can be purchased in two different packages: LS1 and Z06. The LS1 package comes with a 6.2L V8 engine that produces 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. If you want to max out your performance, then you’ll need the Z06 package which includes an 8L V8 engine that can produce 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

    2) 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

    Chevrolet’s 2020 Corvette Stingray is one of the fastest car models that you can buy right now. This newest version of the iconic vehicle features a 6.2-liter V8 engine and dual-overhead camshafts, which give it an output of 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque.

    3)  2018 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C7)

    The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C7) is by far the best model in the Corvette lineup. It’s one of the fastest cars on this list, with a top speed of over 200 miles per hour and can go from zero to sixty in less than three seconds. The engine produces 650 horsepower which isn’t bad for a car that weighs under 3,300 pounds. This is one of the most expensive models on this list but it has what it takes to be worth every penny.

    4) 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C8)

The 2020 Corvette has a top speed of 205 mph and with 650 horsepower, it will take you from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. It also has an 8-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters on the steering wheel for manual shifting.

    5) 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C7)

    Chevrolet introduced the new 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in 2017 and it’s the fastest of all Corvettes. The car offers a supercharged LT5 V8 engine that produces 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds, which is faster than any other production car on the market.

    6) C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51

    This 2018 C8 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 is the fastest, most powerful, and most track-ready Corvette ever. It’s got a new LT4 6.2L V8 engine that makes 650 horsepower and 654 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed paddle shift automatic transmission with active rev matching.

    7) C7 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

    Chevrolet’s C7 Corvette is one of the most iconic sports cars on the market today, and it’s no surprise that it’s been at the top of many lists. With a 6.2-liter V8 producing an SAE-certified 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, the ZR1 offers both power and performance. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, making it the fastest production car sold in America today.

Powered by a 6.2L V8 engine that generates an astonishing 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, this top-of-the-line sports car is capable of hitting 60 mph in just 3 seconds flat.

    9) 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Edition (C6)

    The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Edition car has a 6.2-liter V8 engine. It has a top speed of 198 miles per hour and can do zero to sixty in 3.3 seconds. It has carbon-fiber ground effects, wheels, and a spoiler, which help make it the fastest model of the C6 generation.

    10) 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6)

    It’s a car that can do it all. It has a 638-horsepower, supercharged V8 engine and is capable of going from zero to 60 in 3.4 seconds. The ZR1 is the fastest production car ever produced by General Motors, having set a world record at the Nürburgring with a time of 7:16.64 on October 11, 2009.
